My favorite inspirational lecture website, Ted, posted a wonderful presentation by Moma design curator Paola Antonelli entitled Design and the Elastic Mind. Paola dives into specific facets of the design and science communities where bridges are being forged and both communities are not only aware of one another, but working together to improve the world.
“Really good designers are like sponges. They really are curious. They absorb every kind of information that comes their way and transform it so that it can be used by people like us.”
She even name drops my favorite science magazine, Seed. This presentation is well worth the 18 minutes, check it out here. (via Surfstation)
