  1. Hey, nice work! It really has the look and feel of Vh1.

Some of these will probably be transated to Portuguese in order to be broadcasted here in Brazil.

  2. Wow!That was something else. They did such a great job bringing you work to life. I’m totally impressed! Was all the work yours? Including the characters?

  3. Thanks everyone.

Mbithi, I only provided VH1 with the stylized line imagery. What I gave them was static and Laundrymat really took the idea and ran with it. Outside of that, the rest was created by other illustrators and designers and they did an amazing job. Love the animated logo designs in there.

  4. I had to watch this twice because I was honestly a little let down the first time I watched it. Don’t get me wrong, this is some seriously rad motion work but I was such a fan of the board work that I couldn’t wait to see that modern retro style in action. I was hoping for a little more James White and a little less ’80s retro + DVNO video influence.

That being said, the second time I watched it I was able to enjoy it for what it was, a truly incredible and inspiration piece of motion work.

  5. Very reminiscent of the D.V.N.O video clip by Justice, and the song is “Into The Galaxy – Midnight Juggernauts”
