nice, well done USA!

Cleve 5:25 am - 5th November

well played. Very cool.

Guido Schetters 6:41 am - 5th November

you congratulate the french?

kyle steed 7:54 am - 5th November

very nice. I think I may have to get this printed on archival paper.

Robert 1:10 pm - 5th November

I think I have to agree with Guido on this one. It does read as French flag (horizontally flipped). Nice image nonetheless.

james 5:32 pm - 5th November

Guido and Robert, good point. I was trying to keep it simple with the stark red, white and blue, free of any icons like stars, eagles etc. I certainly understand your notes on the inverted french flag, much appreciated feedback.

Jen Germann 7:36 pm - 5th November

Very nice! Thanks!

Stan 7:56 pm - 5th November

Oh please make this available as a signed print! Beautiful piece for a beautiful event.

Cleve 4:58 am - 6th November

…off topic and I apoligize – do you ever take requests for a theme of idea?

Fubiz 8:24 am - 6th November

Stunning work !

Joe 8:27 am - 6th November

Although I’m glad O won when I saw the campaign funding between the two my stomach started to hurt.

Obama – $350 Million spent
McCain – $85 Million spent

Nice poster!

Juliana 10:35 am - 6th November

James, we’re so tired of your shit. It’s the same old thing over and over again…
Why don’t you get real? Do you think that doing the same thing over and over will set up you style signature?

Amateur.

Joe 10:38 am - 6th November

Uh oh! Jealous person alert! Drink a bottle of hater-ade today Juliana?

starlight86 11:40 am - 6th November

i like the new version..good one james..always like ur work.

james 1:01 pm - 6th November

Juliana, I have always created art that I enjoy creating with no greater motive then that. The internet is a big place, so with due respect why not go find something you enjoy?

lau 2:38 am - 7th November

Sacré français ! ;-)

Juliana : o_0 maybe you can go in another place to find something you like ? no ?

Shad 4:37 pm - 7th November

James, I like this version a lot better. I think it really defines a win for democracy and for Obama. And that’s coming from a McCain supporter.

Love your style and art, keep doing what ya love man.

james 8:43 am - 8th November

Much appreciated, Shad. Thanks a lot for the kind words.

BogDinamita 9:35 am - 8th November

I don’t think it looks like France. I mean then it could look like Netherlands rotated 90 degrees. Anyway, good job, and hope things straighten up for you Americans;)!

William 4:14 pm - 8th November

James, I absolutely love it. The positive thoughts from around the world are much appreciated.

Michael 6:48 am - 11th November

James, your work never ceases to amaze. Even in this election cycle where design was a dollar a dozen, there were clearly some standouts like Shepherd Fairey’s iconic design and Scott Hansen’s image.

I tried my own take at a congratulatory poster as well. I’d love to hear from you and the rest of the community what you think…

Cheers.

Kid 9:13 am - 19th December

Ive seen these for sale on ebay.

james 9:32 am - 19th December

Kid, you’ve seen my poster design on ebay? I did a search and couldn’t track it down. You wouldn’t know the URL, would you?

Kid 11:20 am - 29th December

Heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Barack-Obama-24×36-OBEY-FAIREY-Progress-Poster_W0QQitemZ200292960901QQcmdZViewItemQQptZArt_Prints?hash=item200292960901&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

I thought this looked familiar, also I see you supply the HiRes download for free. So by someone else printing this then selling the print wouldnt really be a crime …..then of course a moral issue might be another question.
